Lucknow Station Update: Route changed for 21 trains including Triveni Express till June 23
Lucknow Charbagh station is undergoing construction work for a new air concourse. Due to this, the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) has implemented a mega block on platform number four. This block will remain effective from June 14 to June 23, 2026, affecting the movement of several trains.
Which trains are affected by the route change?
A total of 21 trains will now run via the Almanagar-Transport Nagar-Utretia route instead of the main Lucknow station. These trains will have an additional five-minute stop at Almanagar and Utretia stations to help passengers. Some of the major affected trains are listed below:

What are the special arrangements for passengers?
To reduce the hardship of passengers, Senior Divisional Manager Samarth Gupta confirmed that trains usually stopping at platform 4 will be shifted to other platforms. The Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express will operate from Aishbagh starting June 15. Additionally, the Nakaha Jungle-Daliganj passenger train will also be extended up to Aishbagh station.
North Eastern Railway CPRO Sumit Kumar advised all passengers to check their train status before starting their journey to avoid any inconvenience. It was reported that over 4,000 passengers cancelled their tickets in the last three days due to these route changes and expected delays.
