Indian Railways has announced a significant mega block at Lucknow Station for track maintenance and a major infrastructure upgrade. Which trains are diverted through Aishbagh and Alamnagar?

To manage the traffic during the platform upgrade, many long-distance trains have been diverted via Aishbagh and Alamnagar-Transportnagar stations. Passengers are advised to check their boarding stations as these trains will not touch the main Lucknow station platforms on the specified dates. The administration has shared a detailed schedule for these diverted services.

Changes in platform assignments and train cancellations

Apart from diversions, some trains will experience platform changes at Lucknow station to accommodate the workload on Platform 1. The Lucknow-Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi MEMU (64702) will remain cancelled from April 4 to 11. Additionally, several passenger trains will now originate and terminate at Alamnagar Station instead of Lucknow NR.

  • Kashi Mahakal Superfast Express (20414) will depart from Platform 3.
  • Marudhar Express services will now use Platform 2.
  • Gomti Express has been shifted to Platform 6.
  • Rapti Ganga and Purbiya Express will now arrive at Platform 3.
  • Lucknow-Balamau and Lucknow-Shahjahanpur passenger trains will operate from Alamnagar Station.
