Western Railway has announced changes to train services on the Madar-Palanpur section of the Ajmer division. The railway administration is undertaking essential engineering work to replace steel girders on bridge number 812. This bridge is located between Mawal and Shri Amirgarh stations. Due to this maintenance block, several trains will be partially cancelled or rescheduled in early February 2026.

Some trains will not complete their full journey during the block period. Passengers travelling between Sabarmati and Jodhpur should take note of the following changes in schedule to avoid inconvenience.

  • Train No. 14822 Sabarmati-Jodhpur Express: This train will be cancelled between Sabarmati and Abu Road on February 7, 2026. It will not run on this specific portion of the route.
  • Train No. 14821 Jodhpur-Sabarmati Express: This train will remain cancelled between Abu Road and Sabarmati stations on February 6, 2026.
