North Western Railway has announced the operation of a weekly special train between Madar and Patna to manage the heavy rush of passengers during the upcoming summer vacations. Starting from April 23, 2026, this train will provide significant relief to commuters traveling between Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. The service is scheduled for 12 trips in each direction to help passengers secure confirmed seats.

Train Schedule and Operational Days

The train numbered 09601 will depart from Madar every Thursday at 06:40 AM and reach Patna the next morning at 08:15 AM. On its return journey, train number 09602 will leave Patna every Friday at 10:15 AM and arrive back in Madar at 01:20 PM the following day. This special service will run from late April until mid-July 2026 to cater to the vacation crowd.

This route is strategically planned to benefit students and families traveling between these states.
