North Western Railway extends Madar Rewari special train service till October and announces Rohtak extension

Indian Railways has announced a major relief for daily commuters and festive travellers by extending the operation period of a popular special train service. The North Western Railway has decided to prolong the run of the Madar-Rewari daily special train to accommodate the heavy rush during the upcoming festive season while also planning a future route extension up to Rohtak. Passengers travelling through Haryana and Rajasthan will benefit significantly from this decision as it ensures uninterrupted connectivity and extra travel options during peak holiday periods.

Train number 09639/09640 Madar-Rewari-Madar daily special train will now operate from Madar between September 25 and October 13. This train will also run from Rewari during the exact same period covering a total of 19 trips in both directions. Following this initial extension, the railway administration will further extend the route of this service to Rohtak from October 14 to November 30, operating as the Madar-Rohtak-Madar special. During this second phase, the train will make 48 trips in each direction.
