Madhupur-Giridih Passenger Trains Cancelled This November!
Eastern Railway cancels Madhupur-Giridih passenger trains on Nov 8 and 23 for bridge construction. Plan your travel accordingly.

Commuters traveling on the Madhupur-Giridih section need to prepare for upcoming service disruptions. The Asansol Division of Eastern Railway has announced the cancellation of specific passenger train services to facilitate critical infrastructure upgrades in the region.
Why are the trains being cancelled?
The disruption is necessary to allow for essential construction work under the ongoing Madhupur Bypass project. Specifically, a traffic and power block has been authorized to permit "box pushing" operations required for the construction of Bridge No. 6A.
