Navratri Special: 20 Trains to Stop at Maihar for Devotees

To accommodate the massive influx of pilgrims traveling for the Shardiya Navratri festival, West Central Railway has implemented temporary train stoppages at Maihar station. These special arrangements are designed to facilitate easier travel for devotees visiting the revered Maa Sharda Devi temple.

Temporary Halts to Assist Pilgrims

The temporary stoppage arrangements began on October 11, 2026, and are scheduled to remain in effect until October 22, 2026. However, some specific services will see their halts extended until October 26, 2026. To ensure the comfort of families and elderly passengers during boarding and deboarding, each of the designated trains will observe a five-minute halt at Maihar station.
