Suryanagari Express Tragedy: Youth Found Dead Near Sirohi

A tragic incident has come to light in Rajasthan, where the body of a young man was discovered alongside the railway tracks near the Maval railway station in the Sirohi district. The discovery has prompted an immediate investigation by the Government Railway Police (GRP).
Details of the Incident
The authorities were alerted to the situation by officials at the Maval railway station. Upon arriving at the scene, investigators located the deceased near pillar number 607, an area situated close to the Maval Dargah.
The deceased has been identified as Kamlesh Kumar Mali, a resident of Sanderao in the Pali district.
Suspected Fall from Moving Train
While the exact circumstances surrounding the death remain unclear, preliminary reports suggest a harrowing sequence of events. It is suspected that Mali was a passenger aboard the Suryanagari Express, traveling from Falna to Vapi, and may have fallen from the moving train as it passed near Maval.
During the initial examination of the site, investigators noted several significant injuries on the victim, including:
- Severe injuries to the head.
- Multiple abrasions across the body.
Police Investigation Underway
Following the discovery, the GRP took possession of the body and moved it to the government hospital morgue. After notifying the family and completing the required legal formalities, a post-mortem was conducted to determine the precise cause of death.
The body has since been released to the relatives for the final rites. The GRP has launched a formal investigation to establish whether the incident was a sudden accident or if other factors were involved, with further legal actions pending the final results of the post-mortem report.
