New Daily Overnight Train: Kanpur Central to Anand Vihar Terminal!
The Railway Board has officially sanctioned a new daily mail train service to connect Kanpur Central and Delhi's Anand Vihar Terminal. This new addition is specifically designed to tackle the heavy passenger congestion currently seen on the busy Kanpur-Delhi route.
For many commuters, securing confirmed seats on the popular Shram Shakti Express can be a major challenge. This new service aims to provide a reliable and much-needed alternative for travelers on this high-demand corridor.
Train Numbers and Schedule Details
The new service will operate using train numbers 14153 and 14154, covering a distance of approximately 428 kilometers in each direction.
Timings for Train 14153 and 14154
- Train 14153 (Kanpur to Anand Vihar): Departs from Kanpur Central at 8:40 p.m. and reaches Anand Vihar Terminal at 4:50 a.m. the next morning. The journey is scheduled to take 8 hours and 10 minutes.
- Train 14154 (Anand Vihar to Kanpur): Departs from Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:25 p.m. and arrives at Kanpur Central at 7:25 a.m. The return journey will take approximately 8 hours.
Intermediate Stops and Regional Impact
To ensure better connectivity across the region, the train will provide scheduled halts at several key stations, including:

- Etawah
- Tundla
- Hathras
- Aligarh
- Khurja
- Dadri
