New Delhi-Howrah Festival Special: More Trips to Ease Puja & Diwali Rush!

To handle the massive influx of passengers expected during the upcoming festive season, Indian Railways is boosting the frequency of the New Delhi-Howrah festival special train service. With Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath Puja approaching, the move is designed to manage the heavy travel demand between the national capital and West Bengal.

Increased Frequency for Festive Travelers

Starting from September 25, 2026, the service will transition from its previous weekly schedule to
