Indian Railways has officially shifted platforms for 14 trains at New Delhi Railway Station, effective as of Monday, September 7, 2026. This crucial decision was managed by the Delhi Division and Northern Railway headquarters in coordination with the Rail Land Development Authority to manage passenger congestion during the peak festival season and accommodate ongoing station redevelopment works. The impacted services include several major long-distance and express trains which regular commuters and holiday travellers must keep in mind before reaching the terminal. Specific platform changes include the 12056/57 New Delhi-Dehradun Jan Shatabdi Express moving from platform 10 to 02, and the 12033/34 Kanpur-New Delhi Shatabdi Express shifting from platform 02 to 10.
