Bihar New Vande Bharat Train Halt Coming at This Station. Bhagalpur, Delhi, Patna New Trains Announced.

Residents of Jehanabad may soon receive a halt for the Patna-Tata Vande Bharat Express, thanks to efforts by Jehanabad MLA Kumar Krishna Mohan, also known as Uday Yadav. A letter submitted by the MLA was reviewed by Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM) Anupam Kumar Chandan, who has forwarded it to the East Central Railway headquarters in Hajipur for further action.

Halt Information According to the ADRM, an update on the halt timings at Jehanabad will be provided shortly. The ADRM has also sent a copy of the action taken to the local MLA for reference.

MLA Yadav highlighted that the lack of a Jehanabad stop for the Tata Vande Bharat had caused discontent among local citizens. He expressed that the stop would benefit the general public of Jehanabad and that the request has now been escalated to railway authorities.

 

Special Trains via Patna for Diwali and Chhath

To accommodate passengers during Diwali and Chhath, Indian Railways has introduced special trains running from Delhi to Jaynagar and Bhagalpur via Patna. Additionally, unreserved special trains are scheduled between Udhna-Jaynagar and Pune-Danapur.

 

Key details of these special trains:

  • Delhi-Jaynagar Puja Special: This train will pass through stations such as Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction (DDU), Patna, Mokama, Barauni, Samastipur, and Darbhanga. With 16 AC 3-tier coaches, it will depart from Delhi on October 30, November 2, and November 5 at 23:45, arriving in Jaynagar at 23:00 the next day.
  • Jaynagar-Delhi Puja Special (Return): On November 1, 4, and 7, this return train will depart from Jaynagar at 04:00, stopping at Patna and other stations, and reaching Delhi at 03:00 the following day.
  • New Delhi-Bhagalpur Puja Special: Passing through DDU, Patna, Kiul, and Jamalpur, this train with 15 AC 3-tier economy coaches will leave New Delhi on October 30, November 2, and November 5 at 12:00, reaching Bhagalpur at 10:00 the next day.
  • Bhagalpur-New Delhi Puja Special (Return): The return trip will depart Bhagalpur on October 31, November 3, and November 6 at 13:00, reaching Delhi at 11:40 the following day.

 

Additional special unreserved trains between Udhna-Jaynagar and Ujjain are also scheduled, featuring six general and seven sleeper coaches.

These special trains are introduced to ease travel during the festive season, providing convenient options for passengers heading to and from Bihar for Diwali and Chhath.
