Amrit Bharat Station Scheme: New entry-exit gate for Dausa and shelter extension at Bandikui

Passengers at Dausa and Bandikui railway stations will soon get better facilities under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. The North Western Railway is working on adding a second entry-exit gate at Dausa and increasing the length of platform shelters at Bandikui. What new facilities are coming to Dausa Railway Station

Dausa station is being modernized with a total cost of 15.17 crore rupees. The railway department is planning a second entry-exit gate towards the Excise Department office, for which talks with the state government are ongoing. Other key improvements include:

• New Foot Over Bridge with covering shed costing 4.10 crore rupees
• Two new lifts installed at a cost of 1.08 crore rupees
• Separate parking for two-wheelers and four-wheelers
• Renovated waiting rooms and toilets with modern fittings
• Special facilities for Divyangjan like ramps and help booths
• Rainwater harvesting and solar energy systems

What updates are planned for Bandikui Railway Station

Bandikui station is being redeveloped with a master plan costing 24.27 crore rupees. To protect passengers from sun and rain, the length of shelters on Platform 2 and 3 will be increased. The station will also feature a 12-meter wide Foot Over Bridge connecting both ends of the city.
