In a big gift to passengers, Indian Railways has started 5 new Amrit Bharat trains with modern facilities for a comfortable and convenient journey. The trains will start operating on different routes from 17th and 18th January.
The Amrit Bharat trains have been designed keeping in mind the needs of passengers. They feature comfortable seats, high-quality lighting, modern toilets, special facilities for differently-abled passengers, LED display boards, CCTV cameras, and enhanced security arrangements.
Passengers, especially those who travel daily, students, working individuals, and long-distance travelers, will benefit directly from the operation of these trains. Time will be saved, and they will experience relief from overcrowding issues.
Starting from 17th January, the Panvel-Alipurduar Amrit Bharat Express will run from Siliguri to Panvel, stopping at major stations like Katihar, Naugachia, Khagaria, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Sonpur, Patliputra, Danapur, Ara, Buxar, and DDU.
From 18th January, four more Amrit Bharat trains will commence their services, including the Hawda-Anand Vihar Express, Siyalda-Banaras Express, Dibrugarh-Gomtinagar Express, and Kamakhya-Rohtak Express, connecting various important stations on their routes.
