India’s first bullet train project is set to start between Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

The train will cover a distance of 508 kilometers in just 2 hours and 17 minutes.


The project is expected to be completed by 2029, with the first section from Surat to Bilimora opening on August 15, 2027.
