Kapinjal Kishore Sharma, CPRO of North Frontier Railway, stated that mock drills and blackout protocols were organized with district administrations to test emergency responses. Varun Sharma, SSP Patiala, confirmed that the suspect Jagroop Singh died during his own attempt to cause an explosion. Additionally, Special DG of Police (Railways) Shashi Prabha Dwivedi noted that CCTV footage showed the suspect parking his motorcycle in Amritsar before the incident.
