The government approved a budget of 338.25 crore rupees for this infrastructure development. A total of 12 bridges, including both overbridges and underbridges, will be built across the region. These structures will help separate road and rail traffic, which will lead to fewer traffic jams at railway crossings.

The project received approval on April 25, 2026, following the recommendation of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. The primary goal is to ensure that rail and road traffic in the Kota-Bundi area becomes more secure and efficient for the general public.
