New Train Announcement: Indian Railways to launch Amrit Bharat Express between Mumbai and Ayodhya

Indian Railways will start a new weekly Amrit Bharat Express service to connect Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. This train will run between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai and Ayodhya Cantt. The service is designed to make travel easier for passengers moving between these two major cities.

What are the timings and dates for the new service

The train will operate as a weekly service starting from May 2026. Train number 22111 will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus every Tuesday starting May 5, 2026. For the return journey, train number 22112 will depart from Ayodhya Cantt every Thursday starting May 6, 2026. Passengers can book their tickets through IRCTC and PRS counters.
