Recruitment Announcement in Railways

Railways has announced exciting news for youth seeking government jobs, with recruitment opportunities now available for various positions under the Ministerial and Isolated categories. Applications for these posts have commenced today, offering candidates the chance to join the railway workforce. The available positions include PGT (Post Graduate Teacher), TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher), Chief Law Officer, Public Prosecutor, Junior Hindi Translator, Librarian, and Primary Railway Teacher. Interested candidates can submit their applications until February 6, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria and Number of Posts

A total of 1,036 posts have been made available for recruitment. To qualify, candidates must have completed their 12th grade and possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the relevant subject. For teaching positions, candidates must also have a B.Ed, D.El.Ed, or have passed the TET examination. For further details regarding eligibility requirements, candidates are encouraged to visit the official website.

Application Fees and Salary Information

The application fees vary based on the candidate’s category: General, OBC, and EWS category candidates are required to pay Rs 500, while SC and ST candidates need to pay Rs 250. Payment can be made through debit card, credit card, or net banking. Additionally, General and OBC candidates will receive a refund of Rs 400 after the Stage I exam, whereas SC and ST candidates will receive a refund of Rs 250. The age limit for applicants is set between 18 to 33-48 years as of January 1, 2025, and selected candidates will earn a monthly salary ranging from Rs 19,900 to Rs 47,600, depending on their designated post.
