North West Railway has announced significant changes in train schedules due to technical work on the Ajmer division. Between April 16 and April 18, 2026, the railway will launch an RCC box at bridge number 638 located between Rani and Khimel stations. Chief Public Relations Officer Amit Sudarshan stated that these measures are necessary to ensure the structural strength and safety of the rail network.

The bridge work is planned for three days to improve infrastructure stability. While some early reports suggested impact on Vande Bharat services, current official lists do not include any such trains being diverted.
