What are the schedules for these special trains?
The Purnia Court-Anand Vihar Special (05579/05580) will operate from April 26 to July 12, 2026, every Friday and Sunday. The return journey from Anand Vihar will be from April 28 to July 14 on Sundays and Tuesdays. The Saharsa-Anand Vihar Special (05575/05576) will run from Saharsa every Tuesday from April 28 to July 14, 2026, and return from Anand Vihar every Thursday from April 30 to July 16.
What are the coach details and route updates?
Both trains are equipped with 8 AC Economy coaches, 10 Sleeper class coaches, and 2 General coaches to accommodate different budget needs. To save travel time, these trains will use the new bypass via New Jhajha instead of the Saraigarh main station starting April 26. The Purnia Court special will have a scheduled stop at New Jhajha Junction.
