North Western Railway announces four pairs of special trains for Ramdevra Mela

The North Western Railway has officially announced the operation of four pairs of special trains to accommodate the significant surge of pilgrims attending the 2026 Ramdevra Mela. According to NWR Chief Public Relations Officer Amit Sudarshan and Jodhpur Divisional Railway Manager Anurag Tripathi, these services are designed to manage the high passenger volume expected during the festival period.

The operation schedule includes various services starting as early as August 15 and extending through September 26, 2026. The Bhagat ki Kothi-Ramdevra route will feature three pairs of special trains. Specifically, train number 04861 is scheduled for 29 trips between August 28 and September 25, departing Bhagat ki Kothi at 9:10 AM and arriving at Ramdevra by 1:00 PM. An additional service, 04863, will operate from September 11 to September 25, departing at 6:15 AM. Furthermore, a Jodhpur-Ramdevra special service (04867/68) is currently running from August 15 through September 16, with a 9:30 AM departure from Jodhpur. For travelers from Shri Ganganagar, a special train (04741/42) will operate between September 12 and September 26, departing at 10:15 AM and reaching Pokaran by 7:50 PM.

Stoppages and Reservation Details

Railway officials have confirmed that these special Mela trains will observe scheduled stoppages at Jodhpur, Raikabagh, Mandor, Marwar Mathania, Tivri, Osian, Marwar Lohawat, and Phalodi. To provide maximum flexibility for pilgrims, the railway has waived the requirement for prior reservations on these services.
