NWR Alert: New Reservation Counter Timings at 4 Stations
Passengers traveling through the North Western Railway (NWR) need to prepare for a change in service availability. The Ajmer Division has announced a revision to the operating hours for Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters at four key railway stations.
New Closing Times for PRS Counters
Starting from October 16, 2026, the reservation services at selected stations will follow a new schedule. One reservation counter at each of the following stations will now close daily at 8:00 PM:
- Udaipur City
- Ajmer
- Bhilwara
- Abu Road
Previously, these counters remained open until 10:00 PM. This adjustment means that travelers at these locations will have a shorter window to access in-person reservation services during the late evening hours.
Official Update from Ajmer Division
The decision to modify the working hours was confirmed by Mihir Dev, the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager for the Ajmer Division. The official announcement regarding this schedule change was issued on October 10, 2026.
Railway authorities have requested that all passengers take note of these revised timings when planning their visits to the reservation centers to avoid any potential inconvenience during their journey planning.
