NWR Updates: 12 Trains Changing Timings From Nov 4
North Western Railway revises schedules for 12 trains including Shatabdi and Express services. Check new timings for your upcoming journey.
The North Western Railway (NWR) has announced partial adjustments to the arrival and departure timings for 12 train services. These changes, driven by operational requirements, are set to take effect starting in early November 2026 and will impact several stations across the network, including Jaipur.
Amit Sudarshan, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, stated that the revisions are intended to improve operational efficiency and enhance convenience for passengers. Travelers are strongly urged to verify the updated schedules prior to their journeys to avoid any inconvenience.
Major Schedule Changes Effective November 4
A significant number of services will see modified timings starting from November 4, 2026. The following trains are part of this initial update:
- Ganganagar–Bandra Terminus Express (14701)
- Kathgodam–Jaisalmer Express (15014)
- Agra Fort–Ajmer Express (12195)
- Jodhpur–Gandhigram Express (14821)
- Gandhigram–Jodhpur Express (14822)
Passengers traveling through Jaipur should also note that the arrival times for two major services will change on the same date:
- Jammu Tawi–Ajmer Superfast Express (12414)
- New Delhi–Daurai Shatabdi Express (12015)
Staggered Revisions Throughout November
The NWR will continue to implement timing modifications for other services throughout the month. Please note the specific effective dates for the following trains:
- Okha–Jaipur Express (20951): Changes effective from November 9, 2026.
- Lalgarh–Prayagraj Superfast Express (12404): Changes effective from November 15, 2026.
- Lalgarh–Prayagraj Superfast Express (20404): Changes effective from November 16, 2026.
- Jaisalmer–Kathgodam Express (15013): Effective from November 16, 2026, featuring a new departure time of 2:15 AM from Jaisalmer.
- Ajmer–Sealdah Express (12988): Effective from November 16, 2026, with a new departure time of 12:40 PM from Ajmer.
New Weekly Express Service Introduced
In addition to the schedule updates, the North Western Railway has launched a new weekly express train service connecting Santragachi and Khatipura (Jaipur).
The new service will begin its regular operations from Santragachi on November 4, 2026, and will commence its journey from Khatipura on November 6, 2026.
