Northern Railway announces special train service between Anand Vihar and Ayodhya Cantt

Northern Railway has announced the operation of a special train service between Anand Vihar Terminal and Ayodhya Cantt to accommodate increased passenger traffic. This initiative is designed to assist travelers during peak periods and festive seasons, including Krishna Janmashtami, Dussehra, Diwali, and Chhath in 2026. The special service, operating under train numbers 04213 and 04214, features a specific schedule to ensure smooth travel. The train departing from Ayodhya Cantt (04213) is scheduled to run every Thursday and Sunday, departing at 6:20 PM and arriving at Anand Vihar the following morning. The return service (04214) departs from Anand Vihar every Friday and Monday at 9:00 AM, reaching Ayodhya Cantt at 10:00 PM the same day. These trains typically include stops at Barabanki, Lucknow, Bareilly, Moradabad, Hapur, and Ghaziabad. The coach composition includes AC 3-Tier Economy, Sleeper, and General classes to meet diverse passenger requirements. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Samarth Gupta has overseen the release of information regarding these operations. Passengers are strongly advised to confirm current schedules and seat availability through the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) or by contacting RailMadad at 139 before commencing their journey.
