Northern Railway implements 10 day traffic block at Ghaziabad station canceling 18 trains

Northern Railway has announced a 10-day traffic and power block at platform number 4 of the Ghaziabad railway station, which will begin on September 10, 2026. This essential maintenance project is scheduled to impact train operations until October 4, 2026. The infrastructure upgrade involves the removal of rusted tracks and the installation of new, reinforced concrete sleepers designed to significantly enhance passenger safety and track longevity.

Commuters traveling across the Delhi-Ghaziabad, Delhi-Moradabad, and Delhi-Meerut routes must prepare for disruptions as 18 trains have been completely canceled. Among the affected services, five EMU trains running between Delhi and Ghaziabad are among the cancellations. Furthermore, railway authorities have confirmed that the arrival and departure platforms for several other operational trains will be temporarily adjusted during this 10-day maintenance period.
