North Western Railway announces extra trips for Delhi and Udaipur special trains
North Western Railway is running additional trips for two popular special trains to help passengers travel smoothly during the upcoming festival season. These special services provide much-needed travel relief and convenience for families planning trips across Rajasthan, Delhi, and Uttarakhand.
Key updates for festival season travel:
- Train 04415/04416 Delhi-Ringas unreserved special operates for three additional trips in September 2026.
- Train 09609/09610 Udaipur City-Yognagari Rishikesh weekly special gets an extension of seven trips across October and November 2026.
- All intermediate stoppages and regular timings for these extended services remain unchanged.
Delhi and Ringas Unreserved Special Train Schedule
To manage the heavy passenger rush, the Delhi-Ringas-Delhi unreserved special train will operate for three additional trips. According to Amit Sudarshan, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, train number 04415 is scheduled to depart from Delhi between September 3 and September 5, 2026, at 6:50 PM, arriving in Ringas at 12:40 AM the following day. For the return journey, train number 04416 will depart from Ringas between September 4 and September 6, 2026, at 2:00 AM, reaching Delhi at 7:00 AM. During these journeys, the train will halt at Delhi Cantt, Gurgaon, Pataudi Road, Rewari, Narnaul, and Neemkathana stations.
Udaipur City and Yognagari Rishikesh Special Train Extension
Additionally, the operating period for the weekly Udaipur City-Yognagari Rishikesh special train, operating as train numbers 09609 and 09610, has been extended by seven trips. From Udaipur City, the service extension will span from October 14, 2026, to November 24, 2026. From Yognagari Rishikesh, the extension runs from October 15, 2026, to November 25, 2026. The North Western Railway confirmed that all existing train schedules and intermediate station stoppages for the Udaipur-Rishikesh route remain unchanged, ensuring a hassle-free journey for pilgrims and vacationers alike.
