North Western Railway has announced the operation of new unreserved special train services between Delhi Sarai Rohilla and Reengas to handle the expected surge in passenger traffic during the upcoming festive season. This initiative, as stated by CPRO Amit Sudarshan, aims to provide a more convenient travel experience for passengers during the busy holiday period.

Key Highlights:

  • Train No. 04415: Departs Delhi Sarai at 7:10 PM (19:10) and arrives in Reengas at 12:40 AM (00:40) on August 27 and 28, 2026.
  • Train No. 04416: Departs Reengas at 2:00 AM (02:00) and arrives at Delhi Sarai at 6:30 AM (06:30)
  • Stops: Delhi Cantt, Gurgaon, Gurgaon, Pataudi Road, Rewari, Narnaul, and Neemkathana.
  • Coach Composition: 13 coaches in total, including 11 general (unreserved) class compartments and 2 guard coaches.

Schedule and Route details

To ensure a smooth journey for passengers, the North Western Railway has decided to run these special services on specific dates. Train No. 04415 (Delhi Sarai-Reengas Unreserved Special) will operate on August 27 and 28, 2026, leaving the capital's terminal at 19:10 and reaching its destination at 00:40. For those returning, Train No. 04416 (Reengas-Delhi Sarai Unreserved Special) will be scheduled for August 28 and 29, 2026, departing Reengas at 02:00 and arriving back at Delhi Sarai Rohilla by 06:30.

The train will provide essential connectivity for commuters and short-distance travellers. It will make strategic stops at Delhi Cantt, Gurgaon, and Pataudi Road, and Rewari, Narnaul, and Neemkathana stations, making it a convenient option for those travelling between these points. Since these trains are fully unreserved, they provide a flexible travel option for those who missed out on confirmed tickets during thes festive rush.
