Palwal Railway Station is set to undergo a massive infrastructure transformation as part of the Ministry of Railways' ambitious modernization drive. To significantly improve passenger movement and safety, a brand-new foot overbridge (FOB) will be constructed at the station, with an estimated investment of ₹12 crore.
Enhancing Comfort for 20,000 Daily Commuters
The upcoming foot overbridge is specifically designed to address the challenges faced by the station's heavy footfall. With more than 20,000 passengers utilizing the station every day, the new structure will ensure much smoother transitions between platforms.
The planned infrastructure will feature impressive dimensions to accommodate the crowd:
