East Central Railway extends Patna Howrah special train services until December 2026

The East Central Railway has officially announced the extension of the Patna-Howrah-Patna special train service to accommodate increased passenger demand during the upcoming festive season including Durga Puja Diwali and Chhath Puja. Regular travellers and holiday planners can now rely on this extended schedule as the service will remain operational through December 13 2026. - Train No. 02024 (Patna-Howrah Special) departs every Sunday from October 4 2026 through December 13 2026.
- Train No. 02023 (Howrah-Patna Special) operates every Sunday between October 4 2026 and December 13 2026.
- Total 11 trips will be completed in each direction during the entire operational window.
- Timings stoppages and coach composition for these special trains remain completely unchanged from the original schedule.
