PM Narendra Modi launches rail projects worth ₹891 crore in Gujarat including new train service
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate and dedicate several railway projects in Gujarat on March 31, 2026. These projects have a total valuation of ₹891 crore and are designed to modernize the state rail network. The initiative is part of a larger development package exceeding ₹20,000 crore for the region. A new train service will also be flagged off to improve daily commuting for residents.
