The station has undergone a complete structural makeover to ensure a seamless and comfortable experience for travelers. Key upgrades include:
- A completely revamped station facade and a brand-new entrance porch.
- A six-meter-wide covered foot overbridge to provide sheltered movement between platforms.
- The installation of two new lifts on the existing foot overbridge to ensure easy access for elderly and differently-abled passengers.
- Upgraded air-conditioned waiting halls for improved passenger comfort.
- Modernized passenger information systems and enhanced platform shelters.
Transforming the Station Exterior
The improvements extend beyond the platforms to the station's exterior. The project features extensive landscaping, redesigned parking spaces, improved lighting, and better circulation areas to facilitate the smooth movement of passengers and vehicles.
