Prime Minister Modi will launch railway projects worth 35000 crore rupees

One of the most significant highlights of the Vadodara program is the official dedication of three major sections of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor to the nation. This momentous milestone marks the successful completion of the entire Western Dedicated Freight Corridor project. By separating freight movement from passenger tracks this massive infrastructure upgrade will significantly boost freight speed reduce transit times and decongest busy passenger routes on the Indian Railways network.
New Railway and Highway Foundation Stones
In addition to completing the freight corridor the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stones for three specific railway projects and three highway projects in Gujarat. These new initiatives are designed to improve regional connectivity enhance passenger amenities and support economic growth by strengthening the multi-modal transport network in the state.
Global Fintech Fest 2026 in Mumbai
Following his packed engagements in Gujarat the Prime Minister will travel to Mumbai in Maharashtra. There he will inaugurate the Global Fintech Fest 2026. The theme for this year's prestigious event is Potential to Impact Agentic AI Tokenisation Quantum Trusted Connected Global Systems for Inclusive Finance. This event brings together global financial and technology leaders to discuss the future of secure and inclusive financial systems.
