As a direct result of this launch, the Prime Minister will flag off a new MEMU passenger service operating between Vadodara and Tanda Road (Pratapnagar station). This operational detail was confirmed by Vadodara MP Hemang Joshi and duly approved by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has enthusiastically lauded the project for its pivotal role in advancing connectivity for the region's tribal population. This launch forms just one part of a larger nationwide push by the Prime Minister to launch and lay foundation stones for various rail, road, and infrastructure projects collectively valued at over ₹35,000 crore, which also includes the dedication of three key sections of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor to the nation.
