North Central Railway Launches Prayagraj Hazrat Nizamuddin Festival Special Train

North Central Railway has announced a new festival special train between Prayagraj Junction and Hazrat Nizamuddin to handle heavy passenger rush during Durga Puja Diwali and Chhath Puja. This new rail service aims to provide smooth travel for pilgrims tourists and traders during the busy festive season.
The North Central Railway Jhansi Division has planned these special trips to clear the holiday congestion. Manoj Kumar Singh Public Relations Officer for the Jhansi Division shared the complete schedule and timings for this upcoming train service.
Train Schedule And Timings
The train from Prayagraj Junction will start on October 20 and run for a total of seven trips every Tuesday until December 1. It will depart from Prayagraj Junction at 3:25 p.m. and reach Mahoba Railway Station at 8:23 p.m. followed by Kulpahar Railway Station at 8:42 p.m. The train will finally arrive at Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station at 11:35 a.m. the next day.
For the return journey, the train will leave Hazrat Nizamuddin Station every Wednesday starting from October 21. It is scheduled to reach Kulpahar Station at 2:00 a.m. and Mahoba Station at 2:40 a.m. before completing its journey by arriving at Prayagraj Junction at 9:10 a.m. the following day.
Additional Festive Services
Apart from this route, the North Central Railway will also operate five pairs of festival special trains across various routes starting from Prayagraj and Subedarganj. These extra services are designed to help passengers avoid peak season rush and ensure comfortable travel across the network.
