To accommodate the massive surge in passenger traffic during the upcoming festive season, Indian Railways has officially announced a new special train service connecting Prayagraj and Valsad. This initiative is designed to facilitate smoother travel for commuters during the major 2026 festivals, including Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath Puja.

Connecting Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat

The new service, operated by the North Central Railway, is part of a larger strategic move by Indian Railways to introduce over 100 special trains and additional trips across the network. This plan specifically targets the high demand expected during the October-November 2026 period, helping to ease the heavy passenger rush between Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat.
