Cyberabad CP Ramesh released an official video statement confirming that Anand has been taken into custody and will be produced before the Magistrate for judicial remand. The railway zone stated that an inquiry was launched immediately after the incident was reported. It was established that the individual was a Telangana State Police Home Guard deputed for duty at Hafeezpet Railway Station. Following the preliminary inquiry, he was immediately repatriated to the Telangana State Police Department for necessary disciplinary measures, ensuring that strict accountability is maintained across all railway station premises for passenger safety and dignity.
