It will depart from New Delhi at approximately 8:25 am and reach Patna around 8:00 pm, covering the journey in about 11 hours and 35 minutes. The train will make stops at key locations including Kanpur, Prayagraj, Buxar, and Arrah Junction. Conversely, the return journey from Patna to Delhi will leave at 7:30 am, arriving in Delhi by 7:00 pm, with similar halts along the route.
Fare Structure and Amenities
While passengers traveling from Delhi to Patna on the special Vande Bharat train will have to remain seated throughout the journey, the fare is higher than that of a third AC berth on the Tejas Express. The cost for a seat in the SC chair car coach is Rs 2575, while the AC Executive chair car costs Rs 4655, which includes meals for the journey. In comparison, a third AC berth on the Tejas Express from Patna to Delhi is priced at Rs 2485, highlighting the additional expense associated with the special Vande Bharat service.
