Land Acquisition and Compensation
This project necessitates the acquisition of thousands of acres of land across multiple states. Landowners will be compensated at rates that are expected to be significantly higher than current market prices, which is likely to lead to an increase in land values surrounding the railway track. Survey and Project Progress
The survey for the railway line was conducted by a Pune-based company over the past year, divided into three stages. Upon completion, the report has been submitted to the relevant divisions in Delhi, Ambala, and Jalandhar, with plans to lay approximately 200 km of new railway line in each division.
