Indian Railways diverts several trains passing through Mahendragarh due to technical work

Train passengers travelling through Mahendragarh need to check their schedules as Indian Railways has announced route diversions and halts cancellations for multiple trains due to ongoing technical work over East Central Railway. Engineering works are currently underway at Rajendrapul Hathidah Upper Toll Junction Rampur Dumra and Dinkar Gram Simeria stations located in the Danapur and Sonpur divisions. Passengers are strongly advised to verify their train status before starting their journey to avoid any inconvenience.

North Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Captain Amit Sudarshan stated that the operational changes will affect important services including the Bhagat ki Kothi Kamakhya Express. Train number 15623 Bhagat ki Kothi Kamakhya Express starting on September 22 will run via the diverted route of Danapur Patliputra Shahpur Patori and Barauni skipping its scheduled halt at Patna station. Similarly on September 29 this service will operate via Varanasi Chhapra and Shahpur Patori once again bypassing Patna.

Return Journey and Affected Stations

Train number 15624 Kamakhya Bhagat ki Kothi Express operating on September 25 and October 2 will be diverted through Barauni Shahpur Patori Chhapra and Varanasi. Due to this route modification this return service will not stop at Patna Ara Buxar Gahmar East Outer Cabin and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya stations. Railway authorities have urged all travellers to stay updated with the latest operational changes and revised timings before reaching the station.
