Indian Railways increases coaches on four express trains at Chidawa station

Indian Railways has temporarily added extra general and AC coaches to four express trains halting at Chidawa station in the Jhunjhunu district to manage the rising passenger rush toward Sikar, Jaipur, and Tirupati. This vital enhancement aims to provide significant relief to travellers facing high waitlists, as confirmed by Devendra Verma, president of the Rail Yatri Sangh Chidawa. Indian Railways has temporarily added extra general and AC coaches to four express trains halting at Chidawa station. The initiative directly benefits passengers travelling toward Sikar, Jaipur, and Tirupati by reducing waitlist pressures. This update aligns with the Railway Board plan to add roughly 1,000 new general coaches across more than 370 trains nationwide by August 2026.
