These special services will run from August 28 to September 4, 2026, to effectively manage the massive surge in holiday travel.

Passengers traveling between the national capital and Kanpur can take advantage of multiple dedicated services introduced for the festive period. The schedules and timings have been planned carefully to ensure smooth journeys for commuters celebrating the festival with their families.

Special Train Schedules and Timings

Key service additions include the New Delhi-Kanpur Central Special train (02456/02455), which is scheduled to operate on August 28, 29, 31, and September 2 and 4, 2026. This train departs from New Delhi at 7:15 a.m., with the return leg departing Kanpur Central at 1:30 p.m. on the same dates.

Additionally, the Anand Vihar Terminal-Kanpur Central Special train (02458/02457) has been introduced for August 30, September 1, and September 3, 2026. This service leaves Anand Vihar Terminal at 7:20 a.m., with a return journey from Kanpur Central scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on the same days.
