To tackle the massive surge in passenger traffic during the upcoming Diwali and Chhath festivals, the Raipur Railway Division of South East Central Railway has unveiled a comprehensive set of festive arrangements. Following a high-level review meeting led by Divisional Railway Manager Mr. Dayanand on October 28, 2026, the division is prioritizing security, crowd management, and enhanced passenger facilities to ensure a smooth journey for travelers.

Bihar-Bound Trains to Shift Platforms

Passengers traveling on major Bihar-bound routes should take note of specific platform changes to avoid confusion at the station. From November 4 to November 14, 2026, three key trains will be diverted to Platform Number 7 at Raipur Railway Station. To access this platform easily, passengers are advised to use the Gudhiyari side entrance.
