Ramdevra railway station modernization reaches forty percent completion under Amrit Bharat scheme

The Ramdevra railway station is undergoing a significant transformation under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme with a total project investment of ₹18.84 crore. As of September 18, 2026, officials confirmed that approximately 40 percent of the redevelopment work has been successfully completed to improve passenger travel experience. Managed by the North Western Railway’s Jodhpur Division, the project aims to provide modern amenities for the large number of devotees traveling to Ramdevra for Baba Ramdevji's darshan. Divisional Railway Manager Anurag Tripathi stated that the station is being upgraded to ensure enhanced convenience for both pilgrims and general passengers.

Key Infrastructure Upgrades

Ongoing construction activities include the development of a 12-meter wide foot overbridge, the installation of a new platform backwall, and the creation of large waiting rooms. Infrastructure improvements also encompass the construction of RPF barracks and an outpost, platform surfacing, and enhancements to the station’s circulating area.

Passenger Amenities and Facilities

Furthermore, the project includes the renovation of entry and exit gates, the installation of new platform shelters, and the provision of improved clean drinking water facilities. Upon completion, the initiative is expected to provide passengers with better accessibility, comfortable waiting areas, and a safer railway environment.
