Indian Railways modifies Ramnagar Express services for Chandigarh station work

Indian Railways has announced temporary service adjustments for the Ramnagar Express due to essential interlocking and infrastructure work at the Chandigarh railway station. Passengers planning to travel on this route over the coming weeks should note these operational changes to avoid inconvenience. Mahesh Yadav, Senior DCM of the Moradabad Division, confirmed that about 30 trains will be affected during this period. The infrastructure project requires a power and traffic block that will remain in effect from September 10 through October 15, 2026. Key details of the service changes include short-termination and partial cancellation of popular trains connecting Ramnagar and Chandigarh via the Yamunanagar-Jagadhri route. Travellers are strongly advised to check their updated train schedules before heading to the station.
