Enhanced Security and Crowd Management at Ranchi and Hatia

With high demand leading to long waitlists in sleeper and AC classes, authorities have stepped up measures at Ranchi and Hatia stations. To ensure passenger safety and order, the following protocols have been implemented:

  • Dedicated Holding Areas: Two holding areas, each capable of accommodating approximately 250 passengers, have been established at Ranchi station to regulate the inflow of passengers.
  • Queue Control: Authorities have installed barricades and dedicated lanes on platforms to manage queues and prevent overcrowding.
  • Increased Surveillance: The stations are under 24/7 CCTV surveillance, supported by an increased deployment of RPF and GRP personnel at all key transit points.
