To manage the massive surge in passenger traffic during the upcoming Diwali and Chhath Puja festivals, Indian Railways has announced the introduction of a special train service between Ranchi and Purnia Court. This new service is designed to provide much-needed direct connectivity for travelers heading home during the festive season.
Direct Connectivity for Major Festive Hubs
The special train will transit through several key locations, offering convenience to passengers in Ranchi, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Deoghar, Banka, Bhagalpur, Munger, Khagaria, Saharsa, and Purnia. By adding this service, the railways aim to alleviate the heavy rush expected on existing routes during the holidays.
Ranchi to Purnia Court: Train No. 08625 Schedule
The Ranchi-Purnia Court Special (Train No. 08625) will operate every Friday from November 6 to November 20. The train is scheduled to depart from Ranchi at 6:00 PM and will reach Purnia Court at 11:30 AM the following Saturday.
