Ranchi Rail Division schedules mega block on Kita Silli section affecting multiple trains

The Ranchi Rail Division has announced a scheduled mega block on the Kita Silli rail section on September 5 2026 to facilitate essential development work. The operation is expected to impact the movement of five pairs of trains across the division. Passengers planning to travel through this route should note the service changes and check their schedules beforehand. Here are the key details of the affected train services during the mega block:
- Three pairs of trains will face partial cancellations or terminations.
- Two pairs of passenger trains are completely canceled for the duration of the work.
- Authorities urge all commuters to verify their travel status before heading to stations.
Partially Canceled and Short Terminated Trains
According to the official announcement by railway authorities, several trains will be short terminated or partially canceled. The 13503/13504 Bardhaman-Hatia-Bardhaman MEMU Express will have its operations canceled between Gomoh and Hatia with service terminating and commencing at Gomoh station. Similarly the 18035/18036 Kharagpur-Hatia-Kharagpur Express will see service canceled between Adra and Hatia with the train terminating and commencing at Adra station. Furthermore the 63598/63597 Asansol-Ranchi-Asansol MEMU Passenger will be restricted to Muri station with service canceled between Muri and Ranchi.
Fully Canceled Train Services
In addition to the partial service adjustments, two pairs of passenger trains have been completely canceled for the duration of the work. These fully canceled services include the 58663/58664 Hatia-Sanki-Hatia Passenger and the 58665/58666 Hatia-Sanki-Hatia Passenger. Reporting on the development journalists Chandan Bhattacharya and Shakti Singh noted that the Ranchi Rail Division authorities have urged passengers to verify their travel status before heading to stations. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Shreya Singh has formally appealed to all commuters to confirm train schedules to avoid inconvenience.
