Rani Kamlapati to Gaya & Danapur: 3 New Special Trains for Festive Rush!
The Bhopal Division of West Central Railway is stepping up to manage the heavy passenger influx expected during the upcoming festive season. To ease the pressure on regular services during Pitru Paksha, Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath, the administration has announced the operation of three new special train services departing from Rani Kamlapati Station.
Rani Kamlapati-Gaya Special (01661/01662)
Designed specifically to assist pilgrims traveling to Gaya for religious rituals, this service will complete three round trips.
- Outbound Departures: September 27, October 2, and October 7 at 3:20 PM.
- Arrival in Gaya: 2:30 PM the following day.
- Return Departures: September 30, October 5, and October 10 at 3:30 PM.
- Arrival at Rani Kamlapati: 4:15 PM the following day.
Scheduled Stops: This train will serve Narmadapuram, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Sihora Road, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Mirzapur, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Bhabua Road, Sasaram, Dehri On Sone, and Anugrah Narayan Road.
Rani Kamlapati-Danapur Special (01667/01668)
To provide significant relief for travelers heading toward Bihar, this high-frequency service will operate a total of 22 services (11 trips in each direction).
- From Rani Kamlapati: Running every Monday and Friday from October 12 to November 16.
- From Danapur: Running every Tuesday and Saturday from October 13 to November 17.
