Rewa Railway Station is getting a massive makeover under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme with new escalators and lifts for better passenger comfort.

Rewa Railway Station is undergoing a massive infrastructure transformation. As part of the Indian Railways' ambitious Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, the station is being modernized to significantly enhance passenger convenience and accessibility.
Modern Amenities: New Escalators and Lifts
To ensure smoother movement for commuters, authorities are currently in the process of installing several high-tech amenities. The current development phase includes the installation of:
- Six new escalators strategically placed to serve key transit areas.
- Four new lifts designed to improve accessibility across the station.
Strategic Placement for Seamless Travel
The placement of these new facilities has been carefully planned to assist passengers in high-traffic zones. The new escalators will be located at:
- The auto parking zone
- The newly constructed overbridge
- Platform Number 4
The four new lifts are set to improve movement between the auto parking area, the new overbridge, and Platform Number 2, along with other critical points throughout the station premises.
Project Status and Completion
According to reports from early November 2026, the installation process is currently underway. The station's transformation is moving swiftly, with both the station beautification efforts and the construction of the new overbridge reported to be in their final stages.
These upgrades are expected to be completed in the near future, providing immediate relief and vastly improved accessibility for all travelers using the Rewa station.
